Single and Double tubs are built of 1-inch (25.4mm) Mahogany boards. Each board is mated to the next with a tongue and groove joint fastened by marine epoxy.When cured, this joint is stronger than the wood itself.

Bath in Wood tubs are finished in a fourteen coat process. We start with ultra low viscosity epoxy that totally encapsulates the wood fibres in a tough, waterproof shield. Then, combining antique French polishing techniques with 21st century chemistry, we apply thin layers of Marine Polyurethane Gel, hand rubbed with fine cotton pads to create a rich, deep-sealed, satin matte finish that is slip resistant and hard wearing for Long Life Protection.
